Waumandee Hill Climb

Doing this one tomorrow... here's some video from 2020 last time I attended.

When I was younger I'd have attempted that, but not now. I'm sure I'd have fun, but I'm way too competitive and would push to win putting myself in danger.

weather didn't cooperate... first run is not timed, and that's the only one I took.
Rain started while I was at the starting line, and was a heavy downpour by the time I reached the top.

Once the weather cleared a bit, I went home... decided I didn't like the risk/reward ratio of running on a wet course. This event is tough enough to get comfortable pushing the limits, and wet/drying conditions with puddles and blind corners was just more risk than I wanted to participate in.

Derek what did you take your door mirrors from a Buick? I think I remember reading that, I’m fed up with floppy mirrors and was thinking of Morris mirrors but yours look Way better 👍🙂 PS that Hill Climb looks like a Blast but like you felt, Better Safe than Sorry IMHO
