Pictures not posting

About one week ago, this website started rejecting my pictures. I got an error message "Oops, something went wrong !" File size too big.

So I started using Photo Scape to edit the size down below 1 mb and the pics would post. But still a big PITA.

Now I can't post pics that I have in the past. Has something changed ?

Works for me. That picture I just posted is 4000x3000 2.40MB

We cap the image size to 2.5 megs, so the photo being uploaded needs to be under that.

Weird that pics I know I've posted before now won't post. I know I can't post a 2mb pic. WTF ?

The resolution is another restriction. The resolution is capped at 1920 x 1080.

The resolution must be the problem. This pic is 1.6 mb but it's resolution is way over the limit.
It did post on the 3rd try.

Looking at my picture above, it looks like it auto resized it.

I use Snippet tool a lot, never have had an issue.

I 'Snippet' everything. its very quick and handy

I just copy & paste when it lets me.

Same, but I don't upload any high resolution pictures. The system automagically resizes the resolution to keep them within certain confines, otherwise we'd run out of space rather quickly.
