I stopped by the engine builders shop I know today so we (Paul & me) could see if he’d had a chance to open up his 289 that’s in for a 331 stroker build but not yet since he’s swamped but I was looking at a set of LS heads he was working on and asked if the wire fire rings he was installing in the heads stock and same about the Huge valve sizes? Well No all custom to build a 2K+ hp forced inj. Engine, I guess the new (to me) local race stuff is Roll Racing from 40 mph to the 1st to hit 160mph and now it’s pushed to 250mph On The Streets! I didn’t think to ask if he also had to cut not only the heads for the Fire Ring but the block too
