WTB, 68 Chevelle/El Camino gauge cluster, need not be working.

In order to get my 68 on the road faster I may have to delay making the custom gauge cluster.
I would like a spare to use as a pattern so I can work on it while the car is on the road.
I do not even need the gauges, just the insert, and it can be pretty rough so long as the shape is right.

I want to mount my 5" tach and matching 200 MPH speedo.
I've seen some replacement panels but the price is crazy and the gauges too small.
I may have to use my old dash to make a fiberglass mold.
Was hoping to find a damaged spare so I could run the stock dash until I am ready for the swap.
Here is the available aftermarket, no longer available without the cheap gauges, and overpriced.

Have you looked for a 69 dash insert? That might work better since it’ll already have round gauge openings, wish I’d of went with a 69 dash when I replaced my broken dash, I threw my dash in the trash long ago

The speedo you have I’ve seen in a friends 69 Z/28 that was a Baldwin Motion car and rode in it at 165 on a 3 lane hwy and we were drifting out of the center lane into both of the other lanes while my friend was trying to stay in the middle lane, even at 16 yrs old I was getting pretty nervous lol

When I looked the other day I could not find them without the gauges.
I will need this one.
