If you want a 70, buy a 70, leave the 71s and 72s the way they are!I was never a 71/72 fan either, though many liked the rear bumper. I've seen some put a 71/72 rear bumper for the four taillights on a 70 to match the four headlights. Not my style either.

If it is a pre Jan 1 72 it will not have a buzzer or the "passive restraint" belts.I prefer the '71's front end above the '72, but prefer both over the '70, same with the rear. The ONLY thing I'd change on this car is that annoying seat buzzer.....gone on day 1.
There is also a reason bench seats were AWESOME!!There is another explanation..... I won't go into detail, but there were a number of cars I had where females I dated were bent over inspecting the hoods closely, and a few that sat on the hood but their legs dangled over the front.
That's all I have to say about that.
