1970 Cowl Hood Short Hood Seals

Asking for a friend, but will need the info myself at some point. There are two short seals on either side of the cowl opening on the hood itself. I'd like to see a pic, perferably from an original car as to how they are oriented as regards theopenings on the seal itself. The assy manual is unclear.

I think he was at MACN this weekend so it may be a delay.
 
Cheap yes, but which way to correctly mount? I've a message in to Tom, I'm sure he'll respoind once MCACN is over.
