Stock at Big Box Stores

I keep hearing it's caused from supply and demand...? So who is demanding all these materials so much? IMHO it's the MFG CEO's seeing a huge profit margin calling/Blaming Covid
That happened in the late 70s too when we had fuel shortages. My memory says that catalyzed the high inflation of the 80s.

I priced out building a pole shed just before the pandemic. I decided to wait a bit, then the prices started to go crazy. I sure wish I would have gone ahead with it earlier. 😕

Supply is down due to worker and material shortages.

Demand is up due to low interest rates and massive inflation (spend it while it still buys something)

I need to build a lean to, pole shed or buy a metal carport in the near future, I am thinking the lean to is my best bet but I would sure like a cover to put over the boat.

Going to Costco to buy a buttload of canned chicken and tuna tomorrow, looks like the powers that be are trying to create a food shortage now. My wife hates it when I do this but it's my money and if she keeps acting that wat she can eat toothpicks while I feast on canned goodies.

My wife also gets mad when I buy in bulk, I bought 2-4 pks of Bush baked beans the other day and she said "You better eat all those or are you Donating them?" I said "We're stocking up so we have something to eat if something bad happens" took 1 box to my storage/shop so she'd quit complaining, exp. dates on these canned goods are only about 1 year away but I'm sure they'll be fine stored in a cool dry environment, guess I should let her know the 4 truck, 2 car & 2 drag radial tires I have stacked up Wont be to tasty if we run out of food LOL

My wife is buying a lot of extras, I told her to concentrate now on pastas, beans and rice. We have been building up our supplies for some time now. When stocking up don't forget personal hygiene products, home repair items and pet supplies.

She has started tomato and pepper plants in pots, getting about time to till the garden and prep the soil.

The Democrats are going to be so screwed come November. You could see some amazing upsets. The woke mob has to go.

Phrased well. "Could" is the key word. I'm hoping with all of the voting issues brought to light in the 2020 election that there will be a closer eye on keeping it fair.

Unless WWIII kicks off, and elections are suspended... never under-estimate their desire to stay in power.
