Can you tell which one failed thru event viewer or the update log?The other day my editing computer went down, and it's been hell and kicking my ass trying to get it working again. Seems one of the newer Microjunk updates screwed everything up. F- Bill Gates that asshole and his minions.
It's what a good tech would ask as a 1st question LOLMS does not support anything older than Windows 10
As a tech I would know Windows Updates are not available for Windows 7 or XP as they have been deprecated. It's what a good tech would ask as a 1st question LOL
It may not be an update that caused this
My point is if it's windows 7 or earlier , it's not an update issue. As a tech I would know Windows Updates are not available for Windows 7 or XP as they have been deprecated.
What is the system doing? The other day my editing computer went down, and it's been hell and kicking my ass trying to get it working again. Seems one of the newer Microjunk updates screwed everything up. F- Bill Gates that asshole and his minions.
The latest Windows 10 update crashed the computer sending it into a loop mode on a restart, then to top it off the sucker took away my admin account and disabled it. After watching many youtube vids and things to try, I had to go into BIOS and change some binary code numbers and after another restart and some putzing around I finally got it up and running tonight. Now I am doing a backup before I do anything else with this machine. What is the system doing?
You were not able to enter Safe Mode? At least you did not do a restore and revert back losing everything, I have had a bunch of people do that and once formatted there is no recovery unless you have an external backup. The latest Windows 10 update crashed the computer sending it into a loop mode on a restart, then to top it off the sucker took away my admin account and disabled it. I could, but somehow the admin privilege's were turned off after the failed update. You were not able to enter Safe Mode? The Admin password... Always have a second account.
Were you able to find which update failed?I could, but somehow the admin privilege's were turned off after the failed update.
Yes, and the computer did fail again after I got it going. I did re-boot it with the clean install repair disc and this time as the computer was going through it's startup it installed the update without a problem, so I am not sure what cause the whole "failed" attempt like 5 times. Now the computer is working and I did do a restart to make sure and it came right up. I must have scared it when I said I was going to do a clean installWere you able to find which update failed?

So far our Avast anti-virus has not slowed down any of our computers with the free version.I’m not smart enough or have enough free time in my life to keep a Microsoft computer functional. Nothing but frustration in my experience. I’ve also never used any form of antivirus that didn’t make a PC so slow it’s unusable.
Mac isn’t perfect but I’ve got a 15 year old Mac desktop that still gets the job done.
I’ve also had great experience with cheap chromebooks for simple stuff like email and web surfing. My sit in bed and watch TV laptop is a sub $100 Chromebook that I got as a Walmart Black Friday deal. It was literally $79 or $89 and surfs YouTube perfectly. I tried to play online Roblox video game with my daughter and it was too slow for that but otherwise it’s been a flawless performer.
If I disappear it means I am either dead or the MAC is.
When the MAC dies so does my on-line presence.
I just have no plan to ever buy another computer, the cost is too high for something that demands replacement every two - three years.
Fuck forced obsolescence.
