How to attach a braided copper lead to steel?

My golf car motor repair failed.
Tried to TIG the stub of the old stud to a new bolt.
Seemed fine, until I began to install and it detached.
Looks like it was originally spot welded in a fixture.
I have no spot welder or the fixture.
Wondering if I might expect some success with careful brazing?
Something else?

I can buy by the stick at my local welding supply, guy gave me a cpl sticks when I brazed or gas welded bungs on my header collectors, try the local welding store for 1-2 sticks
