Installing a Dish Washer, What Brand?

My plumber friend is stopping by today after he’s done working to look at doing the plumbing needed for an installation but what’s a good brand these days, I’m Done with LG kitchen appliance after their top of the line French door dies an early death

I installed 2 Bosch 5 ton heat pump systems for husband and wife Rocket Scientists for Lockheed Martin that were a PIMA for over 2 yrs, 26 software upgrades in that 2 yrs 🤬

This isn’t going under the counter though, it’ll get installed next to our 2nd fridge on the kitchen extension that use to be a screened porch so I’ll have to build some thing around it

Maybe a back to hold the sides together 👍 NM I have some steel strap to hold it

I was thinking it was against a wall, but you'll finger it out. I do like that model Bosch as it's NSF rated and sanitizes what you put in it. I'm a clean freak, so I like stuff really clean and germ free. ;)

The room it’s going in has a small grade going towards the back of the house and was built that way I’m guessing for rain water to run out, 1940 and had screen & metal jealousy type shutters but I’ve insulated, dbl pane windows, wired, drywall and 2 ac ducts but because of the roof line I didn’t level the floor before tile because of the 3’0” back door I thought would be a problem so on 1 side the fridge is on a 3/4”x4”x3’ board so I’ll need to do the same for the dish washer, chest freezer is on a Poly furniture cart with the same Jack Up on 1 side 😆

He came by so we have a game plan, not doing what I thought but it’s fine, going through wall at end of cabinets instead a new line from outside and turning fridge

I’m glad to hear from you guys that you’re happy with Bosch dish washers, some times a little hard to believe online reviews

New Game Plan lol, Kathy’s having a fit about me using a hole saw going through the cabinets so I’m going to T from the tankless Nat gas WH on the other side of the 6’+ doorway out the exterior wall, down and under the floor to the other side of the room then up the outside wall and into on the R side of the fridge, running the drain line about 20’-25’ to the clean out on the same side of the house, there’s a 4” sq elec box behind fridge that I have 2 separate 120v circuits in 1 for fridge 1 just 2 receps so I’ll use the 2 recep circuit for the DW, going to fish a 1/2” copper line with insulation under the floor since it’s only about an 18”-20” tall space, I had the floor open when I put more supports under this room in 2011 wish I’d thought about doing this then, could’ve strapped the pipe to floor joist but I think I can fish rigid copper to lay on the top of the 8”x8”x16” blocks, this rooms only about 12’ wide, Furry kids bath tub will find a new parking spot, nows a good time to run a 1/4” line for the ice maker in the 2nd fridge so I’ll tape that to the 1/2” line and run it through too

Kathy just looked the 500 up and says it’s discontinued so I’ll check out the 800 series

I’m on my way to Lowes now for pipe & fittings and I’ll talk to someone in appliances, going to storage first think I have a stick 1/2” hard copper, only 6’9” so if 2 - 20’ don’t do it I got this lol
