Not sure this business idea is a good one ?

We are starting moble service at our dealership, huge Transit van with a wrap and full of tools... I can't see the margin in it either. Once oil spill in someone's driveway and it wil be a problem. They can't keep from fucking up in the shop, not sure how this is going to work.
We are also doing mobile service for recalls only, that has worked out far beyond my expectations, and customers love it.

There are lots of guys who've tried doing mobile tire businesses and they all fail. Not enough money in it.

If they charge enough $ and people are too lazy to do anything else ( Insert Stupid Lazy Liberals Here) they’ll make a killing, seems like nobody wants to get off their ass off the couch and do Shit these days, well I ran across one at work today so I might be venting lol

IDK what is is with people. Sure convenience but there are somethings you have to go to places for. Next mobile colonoscopes?

I can go to Discount Tire and be in and out in 30 minutes.

When you deal with stuff like vehicles there are necessary tools. Loves Travel Stops has mobile rig repair vehicles, that makes sense since Loves are everywhere on Interstates but they only do big rigs. Mobile RV, sure but again, limited in what they can do.

A Ford only mobile tech for recall work is a good idea but what about when the recall is brake lines or something more in depth? A shifter grommet or wire tie here or there, it makes sense.

All comes down to one simple thing: Laziness.

Laziness of the greater populous has created these opportunities / markets.

It won't be long before women will not want the inconvenience of childbirth and children will be conceived in test tubes and born in incubators.

We can do 90% of the recalls in your driveway, the rest have to come in. It cuts down traffic in the shop, allowing us to do more "good" work. Anything that comes across the drive except Quicklane has a 24-48 hour diagnostic time, nothing gets looked at the same day, ever, just due to work load. The only exception is transmission, its a 1-2 week time just to look at one. Most of the dealers in our area are one month if they have a trans tech at all. Both of ours work 60+ ours a week and can't keep up.
