Good-Guys car show

Lots of beautiful cars.

From what I can tell, you'd have to pull the back seat out of the corvair to work on the engine. Pretty sweet though.

Glad to see roots blown cars are still a thing. They just sound so badass.
Early 90’s a friend built a Bowtie block 496 with a Weiand 871, 2-750 Holley’s, N2O, M22 with a 12 bolt that had 2.73 posi in a 70 Camaro, smooth idle cam but sounded like a Jet was landing in your front yard when he came over to your house, neighbors would even come out to see what was going on 🤣 Love Blown Hot Rods 👍👍😁

See the bright red 65 Impala? I had one……Not just like it 😆 it did have a bright red front dog house on it and Drv door lol, rest was maroon, I also had a bright red 65 SS Impala but it was missing the dog house and Drv door, couldn’t help myself 👍🤣

The Good Guys Show in Nashville had maybe 100 cars. It was pathetic.
I think they were charging a lot for people to show their cars, hence the low turnout.
I wonder if they reversed course and lowered their fees for this show ? Looks like a good turnout and a lot of nice cars.

I think they have a show every 4 months here. Usually a lot of cars and well attended. The autocross is fun to watch.
The swap meet was pretty pathetic yesterday though. Fewer vendors and lots of non car stuff like toys being sold.

Last time I bought new Klein linesman pliers X2 was at a large swap meet & Classic car auction in Zepherhills Fl, they did have a lot of car parts and and cool projects for sale, a lot of weird stuff being sold at swap meets these days

That's all I use for pliers, Klein 9" high leverage linesman pliers. Best I ever used. Bought my first pair 40 years ago and won't use any others.

I still have the first pair of Klein long nose pliers that I bought in 1980 or 81, about the oldest tool that I still have that I bought new, they’re out in my van I’ll post a pic tomorrow, I also have another pair that I bought at the swap meet new I’m guessing 10-12 yrs ago same time I bought the lineman pliers and I can’t remember even using them and the plastic/rubber orig handles are falling apart, I’ll need to get the red replacement handles 👍🙂
