Please note C1 in the schematic. It is most likely dead and will need replacement. The D45 series transistors were made by Delco originally and were really excellent for their time.
I will have to look at the back for the model number. I used to re-foam speakers and they never turned out very well. Now I just buy speakers from parts express, great speaker for cheap. When my Marantz 12" woofers foam went bye bye I bought a pair of speakers from them for $32 a pair, have to tell you they sound better than the originals by far and seem to take more power also.what is the model number? How would anyone know if a speaker is "period correct?"The whole hunt for the MindBlowers..wasn't for power/or quality..Mostley to find something that is very hard to find..If not impossible..to go into my 1972 Chevelle period correct equipment
Agree, but with a grill installed, how in the world do you tell what year a speaker was made ?When Chevelles were teenager cars air shocks, loud speakers and Cragers were period correct.
