Ukraine War - Another War Fought for Money & Power ?

What was our motivation for arming the Ukrainian Army and encouraging them to attack the Russian-speaking Ukrainians living in eastern Ukraine ?
I won't go over the history of this but can supply links to good explanations.
Russia had told Ukraine that they would be forced to invade if the attacks on eastern Ukraine didn't stop.
They did not stop; in fact, we ordered Zelensky to attack the eastern provinces one week before Russia invaded.

Ukraine War - Another War Fought for Money & Power ?

The Ukrainian crisis has nothing to do with Ukraine. It’s about Germany and, in particular, a pipeline that connects Germany to Russia called Nord Stream 2.
Washington sees the pipeline as a threat to its primacy in Europe and has tried to sabotage the project at every turn. Even so, Nord Stream has pushed ahead

and is now fully-operational and ready-to-go. Once German regulators provide the final certification, the gas deliveries will begin.
German homeowners and businesses will have a reliable source of clean and inexpensive energy while Russia will see a significant boost to their gas revenues.

It’s a win-win situation for Russia and Germany.

The US Foreign Policy establishment is not happy about these developments. They don’t want Germany to become more dependent on Russian gas because
commerce builds trust and trust leads to the expansion of trade. As relations grow warmer, more trade barriers are lifted, regulations are eased, travel and tourism increase,
and a new security architecture evolves. In a world where Germany and Russia are friends and trading partners, there is no need for US military bases,
no need for expensive US-made weapons and missile systems, and no need for NATO.

There’s also no need to transact energy deals in US Dollars or to stockpile US Treasuries to balance accounts. Transactions between business partners can be conducted
in their own currencies which is bound to precipitate a sharp decline in the value of the dollar and a dramatic shift in economic power.

This is why the Biden administration opposes Nord Stream.
It’s not just a pipeline, it’s a window into the future; a future in which
Europe and Asia are drawn closer together
into a massive free trade zone that increases their mutual power and prosperity while leaving the US on the outside looking in.

I thought it was because Ukraine was plentiful with Nazis?

I thought it was Ukraine corruption?

Now it's over supplies? Dollar?

Can you make up your mind?

Another article full of lies and bs facts

Sounds about right.

Republicans have supported the democrats in this war.
We had the chance to win 2024 in a landslide by being the anti-war party.

I'd bet the majority are for the war, but not unlimited, "as long as it takes" funding. I say have at it and let's focus on our own problems.......yeah, right.

The ruling elites of the world are trying to destroy our national identity as americans.
Open borders and the flooding of people from hundreds of different countries accomplishes this.
They have already done this to Europe.
Why are they doing this ? Their goal is one world government with them in charge.
China and Russia will not willingly go along with this. The west (NATO) wants to weaken or defeat them to break up their national identity.

Col Macgregor talks about this. The depth of knowledge and wisdom by this man is amazing

Didn't we tell Ron and Shaner this was inevitable ?
Russia was willing to stop back in April.
Ukraine had to promise to remain neutral.
:)
It won't exist when Russia is done.

No.
You're opinion is wrong.
RuSSia is taking what it wants and you think we should just let them.
YOU think RuSSia would stop at some imaginary line in eastern Ukraine.
It won't.
I know it, Poland and Germany know it, the rest of the world know it, just not you and maybe Derek.
Putin wanted Ukraine to remain neutral so it could take more when the need arises.

YOU think it was Putin doing the people on the eastern section a favor by taking that area and calling it RuSSia, what a CROCK.

Inevitable? I don't think you know what that word means.

Yes a nuclear war is going to happen. If we don't do anything RuSSia begins its moves to take over more areas eventually leading to a nuclear war.
If we prohibit RuSSia it leads to a nuclear war.

You two are so upset about how the US conducts business around the world, reap the benefits, enjoy your freedom, lifestyle, guns, racing, cars etc but you don't realize that if we let our guard down, another country takes over, the dollar drops, and they start cleaning house, killing and slaughtering what they want.
United States is so bad, but the next country won't act as bad as us?
Delusional. Idiotic. Stupid to think that way.

Yep. I've read most this thread, and so much more but refuse to debate on propaganda from either side. I'm not sitting in the debriefings, therefore it'd just be futile to argue, but this is my opinion based on the second hand information that's available.

1. Rewards for aggression.
2. They didn't stop with Crimea, why would they stop with Donetsk and the other regions they are fighting over?
3. Why did Poland request a US base, Fort Trump?
4. BRICS?
5. Putin bombing the very area and people that supposedly want to join Russia.
6. Ukraine harbors some of the world's largest reserves of titanium and iron ore, fields of untapped lithium and massive deposits of coal.

If Europe is afraid of a Russian invasion, why are they looking for a way out of this war ?
They aren't afraid ; they only did this because we convinced them they could divide Russia's wealth between themselves.
That plan backfired bigtime.

The world is afraid of what happens if Russia becomes more powerful.
Again, if the US is so bad to other countries, you think if Russia becomes THEE world power it will play nice?

Fck no. They will bomb the shit out of everyone and have no problem slaughtering kids and women.

And Germany, and Poland, and about 80% of the whole planet, but hey, you obviously think you're right.

Someone is leading us into a disaster :
" There are also thousands of US troops in both Poland and Romania and more are being sent. "
No it wasn't made long ago, it's how well our men and women move.
People with no experience are talking out their ass.
The same idiots said it would take a year, didn't you just post that?
Too many idiots posting on twatter shit they know nothing about.

You think Russia would stop at some line in Ukraine?
See, this is the reason I don't get into back and forths on a website. I linked your question and responded and was asked the same question again. Don't mean to be a dick, but these conversations tend to go the same as a wanted ad in today's venues.
