Drilling a Million Spot Welds

Drilling a million spot welds with a torn rotator in the shoulder sucks.
Welding and fabricating does not hurt me near as bad as drilling those damn spot welds but it all comes with the territory.
There is light at the end of the painfull tunnel and i am making progress on my 71. As long as i am not working backwards all is almost good. Getting old sucks. Rant over.

I have one too and it sure limits movement with my left arm. If I move my left arm back too far the pain is excruciating. Last time I hurt it was when I was under a car (before I got my lift), and it's still bad.

It sucks getting old, but what's worse is youth is wasted on the young.

Imagine having all the knowledge you have now and being 30 or 40 years younger?

I tore mine out at 24, doc said it won't heal, but muscle will keep it in check until I get old.....57 now and I get a dull pain in a rare instance, but nothing too crippling. I'm sure it'll come back to haunt me.
Twist drills that grab, I avoid anytime I can. I find a step drill, even though more expensive, is much less traumatic on anything thinner than 1/4". A good spot weld bit can be a bitch though, but if you're saving the parent metal, it's a must.

Hurt mine using a 1 man auger a few years ago, does not hurt much and is usable but I know that any wrong move and I will be in pain.
