Facebook is Watching

I've been preparing for years, but this sounds like the government stepping in to create a dependence on the government.

I'm just shocked by it, but I guess I shouldn't be.

I'm not shocked at all. I know people that say I'm to paranoid or over prepared. Or are they just to naive? I do not have F-book or any other media like that and will never.

If a person wants to be prepared or over prepared what business is it of Facebook? They are truly a deranged organization. They serve as a conduit for left wing extremists and terrorists to interact and recruit but they think it’s their business to keep an eye on people doing prepping.

We canned tomatoes this summer and had a great garden. Winter plants are in now. I have a refrigerator full of eggs now that the girls have slowed down. Can never be too prepared.

My brother's chickens are producing 4 dozen a day, and we have way more eggs than we can use. They store on the counter for 1 month (unrefrigerated), then after light cleaning can be stored for 3 months in the fridge.

I've had more egg salad in the past 2 months than probably my entire life.

They can actually be refrigerated for longer, especially unwashed. I am using older ones for breakfasts and they are just fine.

My brother had to evict the rooster yesterday... seems it's been pulling the feathers of the chickens and causing issues, so he was evicted into a new cage away from the chickens, and now he says the chicken coup is nice and quiet. When I was there on Saturday, they were loud (chickens) and never shut up. I was getting really annoyed with all the noise coming from the coup.

Roosters hop on anything they can and saddle back them.

My birds free range, they need the rooster to be around to look for danger. A rooster will sacrifice itself for the hens.

Hens are often times louder than roosters even if the rooster is leaving them alone.

His chicken's are still in a coup (it's huge at 20' x 30') and he has around 50 chickens. He plans on letting them out, but he needs to fence it in.

Some will escape the fence every so often but they know where home is. I have an automatic door that closes at sunset and opens at sunrise, most of them go inside at night.
