Depends on what you want I guess. New truck diesel 80K+ 5th wheel new 65-150K. Not sure what camp spots are per month 6-800. most are 50-60 per night.
We spend about 800-1000 per week when we go, granted fuel is a big part.

The equipment also needs to be maintained and unexpected crap breaks.

During the covid BS people that were full-timers had no where to go, many decided they needed a home base.

You’d think they’d be happy to be mobile and get away from people but I do remember trying to take my Gson to Ft DeSoto park right after lock down and it was closed and he was stuck here with GMA & Gpa instead of planned 2 weeks 3+ months with nothing to do or anywhere for a 6 yr old to have fun, they have a large camp ground there to and told everyone to leave at the beginning of lock down

Alls you have to do is paint graffiti on the camper and park anywhere, add some Biden stickers and your stay is indefinite.
