This was Monday my plumber friend thinks what “I” did will be OK, he said I should have drilled a hole for the pipe to be knocked in, I used a 1 3/8th hole saw after measuring OD of the 1” pipe, it wasnt a tight fit so I used siliconized caulk around the pipe, think itll be OK? he seemed ok with it but wouldve made the hole smaller

It'll be fine, but I would have made the hole smaller myself. Just give it some time for the caulk to stiffen, then recoat it (because it'll shrink), and check again.

What he said too, Plumber I’m not lol and thats what I told him, then he said why you think I call you for ac stuff 😁
Side note, in the late 90’s his house burned down over a faulty battery charger when they werent home, they bought all new duct and ac system from a local supplier and had me install everything, I had the ducts roughed in and was ready to install the air handler and when I got to their house the equipment was gone 😳 they bought Another system and within a cpl days I went back to install it and it was gone along with new washer/dryer and big screen TV 😳😳 they found out the GC that was rebuilding the house while they were renting another house was Stealing from them and even claimed his tools were stolen and they replaced them 😳😖 well before they knew he was the one stealing, I said I hope you got that asshole locked up! his wife (Ive known her since 81) said No they had been friends a long time so just claimed on insurance 😳 I think Id went to Jail for shooting that Asshole!

Dealing with one of Fords "Better Idea's".
Electric fan on the T-Bird does not come on.
Found that if I remove the wires from the temp sensor it does come on.
So I've bought another $27.00 sensor to swap out in hope that will take care of it.
If not it is probably the $150.00 control unit behind the headlight. (n)
Or a $5.00 manual override switch.
Have to make it work before 5/3 in order to get to Lake Tahoe for the state Republican convention.

Installing the first of four roll up door openers. The installers cut the center bar too short so I got 1 1/8" solid bar and 1" schedule 40 steel pipe to extend it. Bar is in and welded. Next to trace the pattern from the template I made then cut slots into the drum so I can slide the opener on the bar and reinstall the support bracket.

Ford switch changed, coolant topped up.
No change in function.
I have no confidence that changing out the $150.00 unit will make a difference either, all of the other functions seem to be working.
Seems the easy answer is to stop at the bottom of the hill and remove the temp connector so the fan will run.
Have I ever mentioned how much I despise the over-complication of newer cars?

Lawnmowers. I have two with Briggs motors. I had a Honda for a long time, that ‘s just one pull start for years then one day it doesn’t start and you throw it away because the repairs will cost more that it’s worth. Briggs requires constant maintenance. Got the push mower working but the riding mower needed carb gaskets. Showed Boy69 how to disassemble and clean a small engine carb. Float bowl was rusty inside.

Ordered the parts for the Seven - wide track kit for the front, new dampers, new side skin. The shop that ordered for me gets a container with full kits a couple times a year (the only way to import a new one is in kit form otherwise they would have to pass all the crash testing and other crap) so theyre going to put it in the same container to cut the shipping cost. Should be June when I get everything.

Ordered a header for the CRX. Doesn’t seem like a big deal but speed parts are unobtainable for the torsion bar Hondas. I found a place that will build one for me for a reasonable price and I jumped on it because next week they might not be offering that. Looking for an intake, there is an adapter plate available that enables use of later D Series intakes which are much less restrictive, then I can swap the throttle body out for one from an S2000 I think it is which will make the engine breathe much better. Then I can start on building the engine with the spun bearing. Changes to the existing engine should add 10-15hp which doesn’t sound like much but is when you consider that Street Prepared rules don’t allow internal modifications and this one started with 91. Boy69 and I are going to pull the transmission soon to figure out what’s going on with the driveline. It shakes like crazy letting out the clutch.
