This site is completely free and there are no costs. Please enjoy and provide feedback. It is for the Satoh, the smaller garden area I have is perfect for it but I also have an acre of unused land to cut into when needed. Is that for your little diesel the blue & white one? Looks nice.
I'm looking for one for my skid steer.
Can't remember how much HP does it have? I'd thought about one for my JD but I'd need PTO & 3 point, so that would be another $1500 plus more work.It is for the Satoh, the smaller garden area I have is perfect for it but I also have an acre of unused land to cut into when needed.
That's some good looking ground.I don't think a rear tine would work in my small fenced in garden 25 x 35.

Thus the reason for a PTO tractor tiller. Red clay here too. That's some good looking ground.
Nothing but red clay with about 2" of decent soil on top of it around Nashville.
I'd have to bring in some topsoil.
The garden spot is the dirt from having my driveway ditched 41 years ago. I've been adding compost, leaves, cover crops, & even a couple loads of manure. That's some good looking ground.

Yeah, I figured if I wanted a garden I'd have to do something like you did.The garden spot is the dirt from having my driveway ditched 41 years ago. I've been adding compost, leaves, cover crops, & even a couple loads of manure.
We have mostly gray clay, looks like cement when it's dry & almost as hard. I'm sure the red clay is similar.
We have a lot of peat up here & some people just get a few loads of that.Yeah, I figured if I wanted a garden I'd have to do something like you did.
Been looking for a source of good topsoil but haven't found one yet.
So the peat acts like a filler and keeps the soil from compacting ? It allows the roots to get oxygen ?We have a lot of peat up here & some people just get a few loads of that.
Yup.So the peat acts like a filler and keeps the soil from compacting ? It allows the roots to get oxygen ?
Let us see it on the tractor.I finally used the tiller today. The Satoh handles it just fine. It really makes the dirt nice and smooth unlike my rear tine tiller. I am now spoiled, so much easier letting the tractor do the work than me muscling one. And rocks, it throws them out without effort.
