Changing the coolant and transmission fluid on the Vibe today I found the upper hose to be really squishy. The closest hose for a "Toyota" Corolla, Vibe, Matrix is 20 miles away, none of the local stores have it.

Are parts still having issues?

Not that I've seen. but building supplies now are. I ordered all the fiberglass insulation and sheetrock 2 weeks ago and it won't be delivered until August 9th. They had like 15 rolls of R13 in stock and no R30, but I need way more.

Well, another project to keep you out of the bars, besides, it'll hone your automotive skills even further, and it's not like you have a thousand other things to do....... ;)
Parts ordered, Toyota lookups are so easy.

Here is a You Tube of the job. South Main Auto is one of my favorite You Tubers.

About 20 years ago I should have watched a video on how to pull an engine on a mid 90's Z-28.
Pulled it the normal way PITA put it back in the way you're suppose to from the bottom easy peasy & about 8 hrs less.

Doesn’t the complete cross member drop out with engine, wheels etc?

Sure, now you tell me. I parted a 96 formula out just because it had a T56 and a friend wrapped it aorund a T-pole and gave me a super deal on it. The engine had 80k and I sold it for 1000, far too cheap and it took me several hours to pull it. Shoulda woulda u-tubed the experience beforehand, but o----well.

About the same way I felt, would have saved a lot of cocksuckering.
