What’d you buy?

Replaced my volt/ohm meter, $23.00.
Old one blew two fuses and the ceramic fuse can only be found on-line, at about $20.00 after shipping. (n)

Disposable Society, remember the TV repairman that came to your house? Now you just Toss them Out and head to Wally World or turn a device onto Amazon for same or next day delivery 😒

I don't know where you looked, but there are ceramic fuses everywhere online for $8 and under (some as low as $0.45). And to be honest, I don't know that I would trust a $23 multimeter.

Unless someone stole it somewhere around here I have a very nice multimeter, complete with clamp.
Since I have not yet given up on relocating it the new meter is hoped to be single use and then a backup.

Hah, that worked! :giggle:
Buy a new meter to find the old one.
That's the only way I can find anything, look for 1 week and can't find it so buy another and find the Misplaced one the following day,,, except I still haven't found my small Buck pocket knife

We “Might” be buying this, Kathy showed it to me and she’s all set to start packing till I said “I’m keeping the ac business open here” then 😳, so she’s still thinking she wants to move there, Kentucky 15-20 min from our oldest girl, but not liking the thought of me keeping the bus here and I doubt I can just start a $$$ making company overnight there lol, guess I’ll know what she wants to do in the next few days7273A26A-EE16-4C84-9A9C-88AA42DCC899.jpeg

Finally got this, '24 GT auto, Grabber Blue, "oreo" interior. It came with the base black wheels, got them off there the 2nd day and installed these, they are similar to the older GT500 rims. I hate black wheels... I've already done an H pipe, strut tower brace, oil separator catch can, and ordered a blackout taillight panel from the dealership, that I'll pay for with Fordpass points. Only thing left is a cold air kit, they should be availabe Feb-March '24. Only 350 miles on it, but already love it! First new car I've had (for myself) in 35 years.

Got this last month as well. I always had a Rolex in my single days, but family took precedence after that. This one dates to 1970 and is mint, barely worn condition. I got a correct Rolex service rivited bracelet (Rolex equivalent of a CE block, ALL this stuff has dates on it!) I took it to a local guy who does my old dress watches (think '40s Elgin, Bulova etc) and he said the markings on the back side of the case indicate it was only ever serviced once in 2022. He thinks is spent its life in someones jewel box, and that the original rivited bracelet was probably robbed off of it in the '90s when the bracelet was worth more than the watch. Even under a loupe, there are no scratches on it, and it has a Sigma dial, meaning the hour indices and hands are 18K white gold, which is pretty rare. It was running a minute or so per day fast, he put it on a Timegrapher and regulated it to +/- 1 second per day. I asked hiom how much I owed, he said no charge, it was a pleasure for him to handle it.

Dave remember the Comet GT’s with 302 & 4 speeds? I knew a girl in the early 80’s that had one, IIRC wasn’t a Boss 302 but still a quick little car and same color with black accent stripes, your car brought that memory back
