What’d you buy?

Bought these today at the Portland swap meet at the entrance. My brother pointed them out seconds after we brought our tickets and I made a crazy offer...... which he accepted. These are the crows foot torq thrust wheels designed for the 65 Vette disc brakes new to the market. Only wheel option available in those years without cutting up your fenders.

Nice, is that a 14" or 15" wheel and how wide?

15x6, any wider and you need a sawsall. That's the reason we saw so many modified mid years.
In the late 70's my cousins Bfriend had a black 62 Vette with a pretty hot 350 & 4 spd with the back fenders cut open with bigger tires & wheels, a little side note Barry, my cousins Bfriend street raced the Vette, a guy fresh out of high school had got a grad gift from his Gfather, his Gdad gave him his 57 Vette that he bought new and the guy was so impressed with Barrys 62 he traded even up for his Gdads all original 57 red Vette, Barrys 62 was all kind of cut up for mods for racing, Gdad probably had a Stroke after finding out, this was 1978

I guess I fucked up ordering parts. My 67 has front brakes from some later model Chevelle (bought from newspaper classified). I guess I ordered brake hoses from what I guess is a 68 because I think the shape of the fitting is a one year only (like a hexagon but two sides are curved).

Because of the shape I bought a bracket to hold it to the frame for a 68. The hole is the right shape but it is slightly too small. So I guess either the bracket is poorly made or the hose is not actually from a 68. Oh well I’ll just file it larger and make it fit.

Struggling to buy an old off-brand VMC with low hours and good upgrades.
I think I can scrape together the purchase price, but shipping cost may kill this deal. :(
If I can make it happen in about a year I would have the means to make products again, and an income supplement.

The 98" tv arrived from Best Buy. I ordered two 12' long slings from Amazon, bought 2 ceiling hooks and bought
another 3/4 ton come-a-long from Harbor Freight so I would have two.
The wall hanging bracket was a 175 lb model. Rigged the tv and lifted it in position.
And wired everything up temporarily ; the media center is on order and will arrive in a week.
Absolutely love it !

The hooks were rated 75 lbs each and cost $2 ea at Lowes. The come-a-long was $94 at Harbor Freight.
And the slings were 12' X 2" wide, about $17 each on amazon. (y)

That weight thing was in my const class & test 14-15 yrs ago lol I have this thing

You can get a Genie lift inside your bedroom ? Can you remove the railings on it ?
This 98" tv is slightly over 7' long (86") so if using a Genie lift , you would probably still need some help.
