Driven GP-1 Motor Oil

I was watching an Engine Masters episode the other day about the effects of engine oil temps and dyno power, Driven GP-1 is a Semi Syn and also has Zinc for flat tappet cams, I didn’t pay attention to episode number but it’s worth looking up and watching, I’m going to give it a try myself in 15w40 (10w40)

All the people I know with roller cams don't worry about zinc ?
Run Mobil-1 and since it's thinner and has less friction, you should make more power.
Driven and Lucas make excellent "break-in" oils for new engines. I bought Lucas high zinc SAE 30 for breaking in my engine.

That oil or the Penn Grade are the 2 I switch back and forth with. Both partial synthetic. Shaeffer's also makes a great semi-synthetic high zinc oil. I've heard a lot of guys running VR1 with rollers, but not sure why.

I’ve been using VR1 in my full roller BBC but switching to something else, I bought a case of Mobile 1 in 10w30 and was going to use it when I get the Moly assembly lube that I went overboard with flushed out, already turned 2 oil changes of VR1 10w30 black in no time flat but I also switched my 05 Express 2500 with a Vortec 4.8 to Mobile1 5w30 that it calls for and it immediately sent the oil pres gauge pegged at 80 psi so not sure why that’s happened yet so for now I’m Up in the Air on Mobile1, I haven’t taken it to my friend with an $8K Snap On machine to see what’s going on
