This has got to be the most plagiarized ride of all time. Every glass shop in every town USA was copying the manx buggy, some to the point of perfection that landed in court time after time.
Almost bought one for $1200 in the early 90s, but really didn't fit in it very well so opted out. It's just a bug with minimal slap on parts to create a cool toy, but has a huge following. When's the last time you ever saw one on the street?? Answer.....a work buddy has one, but it isn't a manx, he drives it year round and his grandkid absolutely loves it.
