ohhooo!!! check out this dream ad. Going down there tomorrow am, mostly interested in the couple '67 camaros, but looks like there's many more very inticing deals. Just talked to the owner's son, he's selling all this stuff, and says he's asking prices are all set to sell. Glad I have tomorrow freed up........

Prices look really high, and none of the cars look very nice. My self control isn't in danger there. Maybe score some good parts though.

Like anyone selling, start high, that weeds out the people who aren't serious, then start negotiating. If they wanna sell quick, they'll bite.

He changed the ad up a bit....there was 2 '67 camaros there, a gold rs, and a rs/ss 396 car, both under 10k. He also claimed 60 cars, and it was a lifetime collection so you know there's tons of parts. Gotta be something there with my name on it.
He also claimed at least a couple camaros have been sold. Never owned a camaro, but the '67 L78 is something I've always had a lust for.

Took the 250 mile round trip, perfect day for a drive, low 60s and sunny. Guy had at least 30 C3 vettes, mostly chrome bumper cars, half a dozen C2s, a dozen 1st gen camaros, and counted 5 55 chevys. Tons of parts also........wanted mid to high market value on all of it so I went home empty. Spent most of the time talking with his mechanic, seller is a logger and by the looks of his place, doing very well. The '67 396 was probably legit, but it had almost nothing left of it's original pedigree. He wanted $19k for it as a full on project with flared wheel wells. Still glad I went.

my first car was a 67 Camaro 327 3 spd manual on the floor, buckets no console Butternut Yellow with Black vinyl Int and top, that was in 1975 car looked great then my friend and me put a 4 spd Muncie in it as his dad needed a 3 speed for a truck and they had 4 speeds then months later my dad sold it while I was at school, I payed for it while I was working for my dad In Full and never even got a dime back, I was pissed, sorry bout the rant just brought back a sour memory
