BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I think this is going to start popping up in WAY more dating profiles from here on out...

I've never been on a dating site and have no idea what they are like. I couldn't ever see myself logging into one for any reason. Has it become so bad that people now meet only on dating sites instead of the traditional face to face?

I'm betting people build themselves up and lie about themselves to make themselves look better, but when someone has to spell out what they are looking for, that's bringing it to a whole new level. Scary stuff.

Forgive me if this seems harsh Rick, but those aren't the kind of girls I was looking for. I do see the benefit though of no long-term relationship and the both of you satisfying each other's needs. I guess after you've been burned by one or more of the harpies, taking care of primal urges without a committed relationship is logical.

Dating sites are the way of the younger generation. Both my kids met their significant others on sites, so far everything is working out.

My cousin found her hubby on a dating site. He's real nice, and a good father. He has built his own law firm from the bottom up & clearly does quite well at it.
I bet they've been married for 25 years or so.

I didn't realize dating websites went back as far as they did. Match.com was started in 1995. Interesting.

My dating site was work. Girls saw me working (in public) and gave me their telephone numbers. I got to pick and choose.

Back then I was young, dumb, and full of, well you know that saying.

If the girl was pretty, wasn't stuck up, wasn't a floozy giving it away, didn't act like God's gift to man, and wasn't a stupid bimbo, they got my attention and it usually led to at least 1 date.

After the first date is how things would proceed. Many were just a few dates until I found out if they were liberal. I also looked for traditional girls.

I have younger sisters, that helped a little when I was younger and how I met my 1st wife, 1st time I met her I was dropping off one of my sisters at her friends house, I pulled into a wet driveway and the older sister started yelling at me for driving on her freshly cleaned driveway, I ended up marrying her 3ish years later lol

People my age who met and married young were the last ones who didn't meet on dating sites.

I think everyone I know who has met someone in the last 10 years outside of school or work has been from dating sites.

I know a few using Tinder for quick hookups as well... the world has changed a lot since I was single!

So Tinder is a site for quick hookups? I guess going to bars and looking for chicks who were looking for the same isn't a thing anymore?
