For those with too much money and a warped sense of nostalgia.
Corvair Camaro

I have had to work at NOT buying another 65-69 Corvair, I had a lot of fun with the last one until I HAD to sell it after really pissing off a dumb cop.
But this thing is truly laughable!

I am looking for the right Corvair, I have bid on a few and they just go a little out of what I want to pay for one.

I think the later corvairs were some of the best chevy body styles. The drivetrain holds me back, but i've never ridden in a max effort corvair.

My 65 Corvair had a radical engine build and some suspension work.
It was kind of moody, changes in barometric pressure really affected it.
But when it was happy it embarrassed Porsches and Camaros pretty handily.
One of the cars I really wish I could have back.

Did you see that one near me I posted ? I posted it thinking Allan might like it (probably a year ago).
It was super nice and only 10-12k.

Here's one but not much info

Front engine? Pass

J/k. I was expecting to be turned off but that’s a good looking car.

I am a $2-$5K guy for a Corvair, I don't mind a project. $10-$12K is too much IMO. They are out there.
