I don't think so it doesn't have that shifter tube that runs down the top of the trans or at least it doesn't have the same eyeball as a tremec
= Weak I’d guessI think it's an AR5 with a Fabbot adapter.
AR5 was used in Pontiac Solstice and Chevy Colorado.
I agree you need a good trans, does it have to be a TKX though? Edit I was going to put a 5 speed in our 68 but Kathy’s never drove a stick, now she can’t drive at all butI already put a good 4 spd auto in, I do like manual transA TKX is the only way to go. A car is a PITA to drive without a good trans
There's no other trans except for the slightly stronger, bigger T56 6 speed Magnum ? The Magnum costs about $500 more.I agree you need a good trans, does it have to be a TKX though? Well if it’ll handle 600hp & 600tq maybe worth beefing up a little, otherwise I wouldn’t waste any time or $$$Some loose dimensions here.
