I suggest you look into clumping bamboo, but the only variety that will grow in your area is bambusa multiplex. Grows to 10' but very quick to establish itself in 60 to 90 days.
Does Bambusa require much trimming? guess I can Google it, I'd like to run that down my rear fence line between Biden Boy and us
