This pair will be tough to beat.........
I had a 70 Mach 1 351C 4spd and had put a 68 428CJ in my 68 F100 truck but was sold a 390, guy didnt know what he had, and came VERY close to swapping engines to make my own CJ Mach 1 but both were running and I drove the truck to work over in Tampa so left things alone lol
 
Ford was all over the place with their heads, it seems they either under sized them or over sized them. The big inch motors were better, and the 428 was just right for the street.
