64 Olds Starfire Convertible

If it was me, I'd search for another pan, clean and r and r that thing. Gives you an excuse to hunt down the local olds hoarder.

Already searched for a local place for olds parts and I can get anything for a cutlass, 442 and the like, but since this was a flagship car by olds, not many were made (2,401 convertibles and it was most expensive loaded car in their lineup for '64).

I have a line on parts I've been getting out of Chicago (Dr. Olds and his name is Pat McMillan), but the parts are expensive because there aren't many left and since it wasn't a wildly popular car, and no aftermarket parts were produced.

Been there done that. I seem to have mutt equipment too.

I have been able to get some parts from Fusick Automotive out of CT, but they are limited. I've gotten gaskets, timing chain set, rebuilt water pump, and other small parts, but other things are just impossible to get.

Yep, if it were easy everyone would do it. I'll get there.... Just trying to get all the mechanical done first to make sure she's road worthy, then I'll deal with the rest after we get to cruise in it some.
