That there's a RV

I think the "Stripes" version was built based on a Winnebago. I always thought that one looked like a turd.
 
I get on the Chevy trucks message board and love looking at the old C10s that were set up to haul those slide in campers.
Seems like back in the day they put some pretty big campers in those trucks and many were set up with V6s.
Now days those thing are so heavy that in most cases you gotta have a 3/4 ton chassis or even a 1 ton

Many people are getting them because you can rent a small site.

The disadvantage to a Class B or slide in is you need to unhook everything when you want to go sight seeing and getting into tight areas is a challenge. With an A, super C, C and towable at least you can have a towed or the tow vehicle to travel around in.
 
That thing is huge. I have to say it isn't all that attractive though, in fact it's a bit ugly, but it serves a purpose.
