Not sure if John is a member, but he certainly is active on otc. His wife just passed and sounds like she had a tough heart battle. Great love between them. If you're here John, so sorry for your loss and I'll say a prayer for you and her both.
If anyone that's still active over there wants to share on his thread, please deliver the message along with any other members here that want to say a little something.

That's what I hoped would happen, a proxy card/ post from all those that can't post over there.....not sure who has access anymore

I skimmed thru last night and saw that. Cant reply, but his wife had a stroke around Thanksgiving and had a rough time ever since.
Very sorry to for him and his family.

Ok, I got the contact info for John. A group card would be nice. How should we do it?

We can't really send a card to make the rounds, but if we were to create an image and let people either electronically sign or say a few words, that'd be best I'd guess.

Or one of us wants to send a card and sign it from the people at Old Chevelles. Some type of memorial piece might be nice (if we knew his wife's name), and I'd be happy to pay whatever.

I'm okay with anything. I think just a simple card that we could send on behalf of this site and personalize with a e-sig would be fine. I think that would be appropriate. I'm clueless on how to get it done, but if any of you could set it up and pass it around I think it'd be just a simple but thoughtful gesture.

I know anything that recognizes his loss will be appreciated, but for me sending something living will be a remembrance in my eyes (if it were me), and I'd treasure it.

Sorry if it sounds corny, but to me, it would mean a great deal to me personally if someone had done that for me at my time of loss.

I'll order it tomorrow, and if anyone feels so inclined, they can chip in.
