Not to worry. Bryers doesn't meet the USDA standards to be called ice cream either, but it sure is good.
I believe they call it frozen dairy desert.

I just noticed that’s the Brown Rim price, wonder what the Gold Rim price is 😳
 
Breyers went down to 1.5 quarts, but everyone is doing that. Same price, less food. Just like girl scout cookies. Used to get 3 big rows of thin mints, now (as of 5 years ago) you get 2 rows of like 10 cookies for like $10. No thanks.
