We love that movie, I think it's great when she explains about a Posi & open rear end

When the mini split wasn't running you'd be getting sewer gases through the drain hose. Any stack pressure (wind blowing across the stack vent on your roof will force the gases through the tube. You need a p-trap to stop that. The drain hose can be loose in an extended vertical pipe of the p-trap.

It's a lot more work, but a rear license plate camera is awesomeWhen the power was out in our neighborhood during hurricane Ian it was raining hard and I was trying to back down our dead end alley to bring something through the back gate, couldn't hardly see where I was backing so going very slow then I heard boards cracking and realized I was backing over my neighbors wood fence that had blown down so figured time for some auxiliary LED lighting so I mounted 1 of these $25 Wally World 1000 lumen white, 600 lumen amber lights but for now I haven't hooked up the amber light and tied the white led to the back up light wire harness with press pinch (dont know the real name) connectors, I'll know tonight if I need a 2nd light, used an 8" pc of slotted angle that I painted black, an old General contractor once told me "Paint it Black and itll Disappear" lol
Mostly annoyed to find myself listing some very rare parts on CL in an effort to raise funds for higher priority projects.
Nothing I listed is Chevelle/El Camino related.
I fear that the pending depression will put a lot of the small specialty vendors out of business.
That would make currently difficult restorations either impossible or horribly expensive.
So I am in a hurry to stock up on parts.
That Bosch laser looks like a much better version than the one I bought a few months ago.Spent the day yesterday trenching (by hand) to put the drains in before the concrete slab. I ordered (and got) a Bosch Laser Level to check for grade because I wanted to put in drains for RV's (for mine and for guests when they visit) and wanted to verify the grade from where the drains are going out to the septic system to about 90' away. I don't have the final measurements, but it appears I'll be able to run a 4" drain to where the RV's are and it will be using gravity (instead of an effluent pump to pump it to the tank).
It's not fun to trench in compacted soil (or even sand) and have to dig through roots buried below the natural grade. The trench is about 80' long.

I used mine to build the ground-mount solar panel structure.
I bought a green laser. It's best to use it at daybreak or dusk as bright sunlight makes it hard to read over long distances.
They sure make the job easier !
I'm sure it looks better with the clear than it would with Tank Tone.Clear coated my gas tank the other day. As I mentioned on another thread I sealed the inside and was going to use Tank Tone on the outside but was convinced that it didn’t look right so I sanded it to get rid of rust and some stains. I didn’t have it in me to put in the time to make it look really good but it’s at least presentable.
I used a catalyzed flattened clear coat that I had left over from my dash board.
