What’d you work on today?

Spent an hour &1/2 trying to get the pics off of Pam's phone, & another 2 trying move all her setting to a new phone. Never got it done oh well.

I bought a utility to do that with Lisa's phone. She had so much stuff it was nuts, but it worked. It copied all her pics, music, contacts, text messages and more. The program was called syncios and it did android perfectly.

Once I found the right place in the phone to tell it to do files & not charge it was fine. Watched a couple vids that said do this do that, fuck I didn't have anything that looked like that at all.

Yep, same thing, that's why I bought the program and it did it for me. I figure $35 was worth it so I didn't have to waste time on shit I rarely ever do.

Went to a Realtor client condo he just sold to clean the indoor portion of the ac and check the system, 2013 Goodman in decent shape, spent 2 hrs cleaning and 1 hour BSing about interest rates and the housing market, this is the same condos I placed a bid to move ac units for new stairs 2-3 yrs ago and they’re still screwing around so glad they didn’t accept my bid lol

I stripped all the surface rust and old primer off the 70 Convertible, and sprayed it with epoxy primer. Made a video of it in bare metal for a potential buyer before I sprayed it. Not trying to cover anything up, just making it not look terrible. Going to assemble as much as we can today.

So this is to sell and not restore?

Yes, this is part of another estate clean-up, so the kids can sell the property. They want to piecemeal it out rather than price the whole lot, so I don't know how many more loads I will pull out of there. For sure going back for a 70 Malibu.

Get some pics of the '70, I may be interested. My 2 favorite years are the '67 (already have), and a '70.

Fun fun! Finding troves like that is normally futile around here. The estate does a quick search of the usual sales venues then they price accordingly. I've been experiencing this for the past decade or two and have all but given up on the effort. Good to see you work a good deal here and the last one also.

Had to get some leaves off the ground, Furry kids dont like doing Business on them lol, still have roofs to clean and hope the 7 Oak trees are done shedding for the year

Serviced my in place house generator, Honda 2 Cyl GX-620 propane model, about 18 years old. Changed the oil and filter, replaced the spark plugs, new battery, new air filter and cleaned the unit out. Only 211 hours on it. Figures power would flash while I am working on it, luckily it stayed on. I It was the original air filter, oil was changed last 3 years ago, spark plugs about 5 and the battery 4 years ago. I rotate batteries, generator gets the newest and lawn mowers get the older. When the lawn mower battery dies, another rotation.

I looked, it is a 10,500 stand by generator, we bought it years ago, it is hard wired to a manual transfer switch. We live at the end of the power service, if a frog pees on the road we lose power. I do not have it wired as an automatic generator, that way I can choose what I want to run.

I was going to put a whole house Generac here but just cant get Kathy on board with it, portable 5500 or 6500 in the detached garage with cords through window plywood and doesnt run the central ac, Im getting Old & Lazy and wanted it Automatic Not Stick Shift lol and we have Nat Gas 2-3’ away from the spot I want to put it

You have a 67?! How didn’t know that?

Derek, you find much rust? The side of the car in that pic looks awfully nice. Should be a pretty desirable project car.

'67 had the coolest body style. The front end looked more aggressive than the '66 and the torpedo tail lights on the '67 are bad ass. The '67 was more refined than the '66 imo.

Agreed. I like the more modern styling of the 67 front and taillights. Everyone loves 70s as do I and also 65s.
