Still kinda on the cool side inside the house, but we're learning to live with it. The humidity makes it nice and comfortable. Lisa had to sleep with a comforter last night because she was cold.

You only drive it 4500 miles a year ?
Manufacturers have finally admitted that full synthetic doesn't wear out - they say to change oil at 15k to 20k miles.
All oil gets dirty so I would just change the filter and top it off every 5k miles. Saves a lot of money without endangering the engine.
But this seems to make some people nervous LOL

Thats a thought just changing the filter but the oil that came out of my truck was Mobile1 and black as asphalt, actually still have it in a container in my truck, wonder if it broke down any? PS that was also after driving to NW Ky so I prob drive the truck 3K a year lol PS2 bought it new in 09 has 70,011 miles 😁

Wow, black after 5000 miles ? My Rav4 never gets black.
If it turns black I would change it.
How does your Rav4 do ?

China-Mart has a 40" 1080p TV with the right cable connection for $135.00
That should work for me.
It is not resolution of the screen that is an issue, it is trying to make put the tiny little characters on the task bar that define what the cursor is going to do next.
Getting close to having the purchase price of the VMC in hand.
This becomes a lot more relevant once it is paid for.

Mine are always black after 5k miles, it's pretty normal. My truck gets a new qt every thousand so it looks cleaner than most.

I do my oil changes every 5000 miles in the Fusions, Excursion and Vibe. Every couple of years in the Chevelle and once a year in the Durango and Mercedes.

Every other oil change I change the Fusions Transmission fluid, can only drain and fill, filter is internal so in a sense the transmission has a complete fluid change every 30,000 miles.

Before I had the 200r4 put in our Chevelle I wish I’d welded a bung for a drain plug on the pan, in fact I cant believe I didnt, very dumb on my part since it wasn’t in a vehicle and dry PS havent changed trans fluid in the Ram or my 05 Express 2500 owned since 08 and from 52K to 173K

My THM 350s and Dodge don't have drain plugs, fortunately I don't have to take that bath very often.

I guess that's why when I see those vehicles with oranges on their plates they always wear a winter coat if it below 75 deg.

Had to get on the roof of bldg #2 at Boulevard Club today and was wondering how I Bounce these days 😆 replaced a capacitor then had to slowly pour 2 qts of water over the very hot motor to get the thermal overload to close, told the owner if it doesnt close time for a new motor but it finally closed 👍 some other condos have a roof access on the top floor landing but not here lol, my old friend of 35+ yrs Dennis is working in maint. here and gave the owner my # he use to work at Bermuda Bay Beach & Racket Club and kept me very busy there, Dennis lost his wife (and my deceased best friends youngest sister) of 30+ yrs to lung cancer about 2 months ago

How can they offer full synthetic oil changes at below cost ? My Toyota dealer just sent me an $85 oil change special. LOL
After the 2 yr Free changes they started charging $19.99 then they went up to $35 or maybe $45? but I called the gal that sent the email and said I'd do $19.99 but they couldn't get lower than $25 so for that I'll take it there, I'd like for their records to show I have them service it just in case of a catastrophic failure, they do try pushing other shit to like "Needs new battery" or wiper blades lol
