What’d you work on today?

Tough call, but since you don't get to see them too often I'd wait until they get home from school. When we visit our daughter and grandson in NC we spend as much time with him as possible, but we usually only see them once a year because of busy schedules.
I’m still here 😁 finished around 4 but thought I’d spend some time not working and just enjoy being around everyone and that’s what they were hoping I’d do anyway, one customer is a little anxious but I did a repair for him a little over a year ago on a 2018 RHEEM 4 ton Heat pump central system that another company said it needed a new compressor but wanted to sell him a whole new system, unplugged the comp plug and left, he called me so I checked it and found a problem in the air handler, fixed that plugged the comp back in and been working fine 1+ years so he’s waiting, another lady wants a new system but said she’ll wait till I get back, other guy said he’s on vaca till 24th and would like work done before he has to go back to work so I’m not leaving till I see the Gkids off to school tomorrow 👍👍😁 new mini splits working great 👍👍 do wish a supply house was around here but it’s all good and Megan & Conner are Very happy 🙂

Had to tear my door apart. The window had a very tight spot right in the middle of its travel. It would almost stall the motor.. I Took a few measurements and the front to rear dimensions where the window slides in was 3/16” narrow in the center. I cut the welds loose, adjusted it and rewelded it and now working great.

LOL!
No, it is standing upright but still a ways from anchored or working.
Reassembly is being a "Biden", had to buy eight metric nuts, at $23.00!
Not particularly large or special, just Biden priced.
Looks like it is going to be a while, I am still struggling to put some hardware back together.

My latest project, I picked this up cheap. I’m going to make it into a flatbed trailer for hauling my UTV

I have 6’10” available behind my garage to store it so it should work out good. I couldn’t do a normal 6x10 as they are too wide. It has a 3,300lb GVWR

After fussing with the clothes dryer I finally got it fixed. Belt was broken, replaced, wouldn't spin easily. Replaced rollers and lubricated shafts, still not spinning properly. I finally found the motor drive pully was so worn it would not spin the belt. Works perfectly now. Oh, also replaced the dryer element.

Went to a cust home today that I’ve been band aiding a 2002 Trane unit that had a bad Duke energy management box and IMHO helped put the 20+ year old unit towards an earlier grave, it’s half assed working but if it gets hot out like above upper 80’s the comp quits, the couple recently bought the home and still having remodeling done, I gave her a cpl prices for new systems and she’s going to talk with her husband ( still out of state working) and decide which system they want me to install, only took a cpl pics of attic unit but outdoor is your basic 20+ year old heat pump

It's time for a new one. If they got 20 years out of it, they were damn lucky.
