Those shingles are still sold at a local Home Depot but made of a different material, he’s replacing some of the broken ones

Worked on grinding the old two-post lift anchor bolts flat with the floor.
Also made up some additional steel for better support as I will not be sinking it into the floor.
Tomorrow is to be warmer so I will epoxy over the old bolts.
Hope to begin laying out for the new bolts too.

Had a service call today at a bar we installed a new 5 ton split ac system in roughly a year ago maybe less for water leaking on the floor, found condensate pump not working right, works sometimes so replacing it but at owners request not till Tues, of course there’s a Parade today put on by the “Young Demonic/Rats of Pinellas county or St Pete?” couldn’t wait to get the heck out of there, I think a male bartender had on a woman’s costume

Determined why I have been having trouble installing my 2-post lift.
Somewhere along the line of previous owners the original base mount assembly got separated from the rest of it.
There is a company that supplies parts, but of course they are on the other end of the country so shipping 300# and 12'x4' of steel would be nuts, in addition to the part itself.
Hoping to get a drawing and make a replacement.
I did at least get the old anchor holes epoxied over.

The guy sold you a lift missing main parts?

I doubt the seller knew.
Someone before him modified the base and used it that way.
I do not trust a 13" x 17" base with only the thin edge of angle iron making contact with the concrete.

If you like I can ask someone I know that has a heavy duty 2 post lift what size the “Feet” are on his lift?

The big parts seller says on their site that they have the original engineering drawings.
Too big and heavy for shipping so I hope they will share.
Then I can make the part myself.
If not I think I have figured it out.

Finished the Gree 18K heat pump mini split install today, use to do these in 1 day this took 3 days 4-5 hrs a day and getting old sucks lol 😆 but I’m happy with how it came out, painting the black insul tube is code to help prevent UV rays from eating the rubber and home owner will have the house painter paint the house color on the pipes, I have no doubt this will maintain high 60* temps and keep low humidity levels in the garage area next summer 👍👍🙂

Replacement bases for the lift are nearly done.
I am making some spacers for the ends of the heavy tube.
Now removing and repacking each roller bearing before I put the carriages back in.
Once that is done I should be able to set the columns into place before drilling for the anchors.
Hope to be finished by Sunday evening.
Then I either have to buy a static phase converter or a 3-Ph. generator.

Man, that’s stunning. Looks greenish in the top photos and more blue in the bottom photo. I’m guessing it’s the lighting.
Looks amazing regardless.

I Think?? a convertor might be cheaper, what’s the max amp rating on the lift? and is it 3 phase 208/230 or 460/480 volt? Heck I’m wondering if it might be cheaper to change the motor to 230/240 volt?
