I'd just fix what's gotta be fixed because the rules there to maintain the look of the neighborhoods is one of the things that drove us away. No matter if you want to improve anything, it comes down to what they want it to look like, not what you want.

Next project that I might have the same GC is a new garage roof, I wanted to knock this garage down in 2014 but the city wouldn’t approve a metal bldg with a metal roof unless my house had a metal roof to match or metal bldg has same roof as house anyway that’s the next ClusterFuck lol Oh I had a new roof put on the house in 2006 so in 2014 it was an 8 yr old roof and I wasn’t going to change it, 2007 made the change and IIRC it was because George W Bush came through and thought it made residential neighborhoods look “Tacky” but I’m not 100% sure on that, just heard it at the bldg dept, on another note city is more than happy to let me build a 2 car garage with apts above and would even help finance, our single lot 45’ wide and IIRC 150’ deep lot are now good for 4 apt units unbelievable stupidity IMO

Well they’re pouring today and the lead guy Didn’t know what the inspector said, I told him I let the GC know as soon as the inspector left Tues but the lead guy didn’t know so he hauled ass to Home Depot for the wire, UnFucking Believable and I’m glad I don’t work with these guys on a regular basis since I like to know when schedules get changed and Do Not like working with people when 1 hand doesn’t have a Fucking clue what the other hand is doing, hopefully it’ll all be over soon

Coming back in the morning to cut the 4’ wide line in the center of 12’ for the sidewalk and a lines to match where the original sidewalk was then a line across the parking pad, remove forms and I finish packing dirt around it then wait to seal it, I gave each of the 2 main guys a $20 bill and a proper Thank You but I would’ve tipped better with better back and forth contact, I really don’t like wonder WTF is going on when I was told something else, Oh figured Fuck Parking BS cause some Fuckin Idiot around here would want to turn around in my new driveway, cop can’t get it I’ll go to Fucking Court, Oh on a side note my Wilwood Big brake kit finally arrived I’ll post a pic asap but busy with house stuff now lol, can’t wait to throw Asshole neighbor Under The Bus and I’m really Not like that…under Normal circumstances

I put up some more Caution tape just in case one of these Liberal neighbors feel groggy and want to “Accidentally” walk across my wet driveway, Crazy gal is parking her car right across from my Driveway Blocker truck to make it harder to get through but Fuck Her!! The Asshole next door is the only one that would be walking over it to get to the end of the street but when He asked the city to put a sidewalk on this side of the street they said No cross and walk on the other side…So he does lol but he’s a Fuckhead and would probably Fuck my DW up and say Whoops I didn’t see it, I mean while it’s wet

Only conservatives on the block of 8 homes is the Cat Farmer next to me that finally stopped breeding Ferral Cats thanks to many calls from Kathy to Meow Now and the Viet Nam vet at the corner that don’t get involved but there’s another conservative behind us that’s already got on Assholes ass for speeding in the alley where his 5&3 year old kids play, I blocked the dead end alley today while the concrete truck was here but I guess Asshole didn’t need to go anywhere BTW the VN vet turned me on to Crown Royal Green Apple…Yum
